Motherhood “You are never alone”

Motherhood let’s get real

I’m writing this for all women (especially mothers) out there. I am writing this to say thank you. I am writing this to make you all aware of the amazing talent, the raw honesty , the wealth of information and support there is out on the web for all of you.  If you think you are alone and there is no one that understands what you are going through, then let me tell you that there probably is, you just need to look for them in the Blogging world.

Motherhood Bloggers

Everyday no matter what I am feeling, whether a little flat, stressed, happy , grumpy, or insecure (some days they all apply) I know there is someone out there pretty much going through a similar situation. How do I know ? Because they wear their heart on their sleeve and blog about Motherhood. They blog about their day, their happy moments and their very sad moments too. They blog about their emotional turmoil, guilt and stress and how they manage to carry on. They blog about their relationships, their work and their children. They share their inner most thoughts and help you realise that you are not alone. There are bloggers that share their delicious recipes with you and their delightful family pictures. There are bloggers who swear, there are bloggers who are religious, there are bloggers who become your friend and  there are bloggers who do not- just like the real world.

I have read some blogs that make me want to turn up unexpectedly at the bloggers house and give them a big hug and a shoulder to cry on, or I want to turn up with a bottle of red and some takeaway and say “It’s OK, I’m ready to listen, what can I do to help” (luckily for them their addresses are not published).

Motherhood, Fatherhood, & Life

There are blogs by everyone, experts on very subject imaginable, single mothers, busy mothers (that’s all of us) psychologists, comedians, celebrities, you name a topic and there will be a blog about it.

A blog is a personal journey of thoughts and individual opinions, you are free to take what you what from it. You can  leave a comment, preferably a nice one and not be judgemental or criticise. If you do not like what they are saying or agree with all their points then it is OK to not say anything at all -walk away. “If you cannot say something kind, nice , constructive or positive best not say anything at all”

Since I joined the blogging community I have found so many like minded people and  made some great  one to one connections with them, that I do feel I’ve known them for years. I laugh, I cry and share my thoughts with them , like you would  with a close friend.

At times I also feel like the new girl at school, there are formed friendships, which  I find a little daunting to approach, so I watch (not stalk- OK maybe a little stalking) as I’m fascinated and genuinely intrigue on the subject that they are sharing with each other.

I’ve only been blogging for about two months and it was all thanks to the lovely Alli from http://www.motivatingmum.com who set me up and had the patience to introduce me and teach me all about  Twitter. Then I got the bug and started blogging which lead to  friendships, and opened up a world of down to earth, sassy, funny, real, honest women, who I look forward to hearing from on a daily basis.

Oh and one very funnyman http://benpobjie.blogspot.com

So please remember you are never alone- reach out into the world of bloggers and you will find someone similar  experiences to you and a whole heap of invaluable resources.

You do not need to be a blogger to access this awesome wealth of honesty and, you can just read and move on and hope to feel a little better knowing that some one else understands.

To those I mention here, some may not even know me  but I just want to say  Thanks for sharing so much of your lifes.

Salut, your article above surely have me interested up to the last word, so I just had to comment on it. Unintentionally I located it via Bing and I must say to you I hardly read the complete story of a blog as I always get tired of the “nonsense” which is offered to me on a frequent basis. Yours is totally different and finally well researched or written. Will for sure further check out your blog! 🙂 Go on!!
