My Happy Place Day Eleven

My Happy Place Day Eleven

My happy place today is short yet again as another busy day but a great day 🙂

I know I still need to respond to some of you and I will get there over the weekend.

I really appreciate you all on this challenge – that makes me happy too.

My Happy Place are these new red shoes, my Happy moment will be wearing them and walking with out falling.

I am off to a birthday party tonight with hubby and I know  we will  have a happy time.

Now those shout Fun!! have a great night!!

My happy moment has been sewing today. Little ones in daycare house oh so quite and me getting creative. Im making a spider and bat outfit for my girls for halloween. Also another happy moment today was going for a walk on the beach for some head space time and to help with the gym pains.

    • Wow you sound so talented Debbie, I’m only good with a glue gun 😉 so pleased you had a cpuple of happy moments, a walk on te beach is very therapeutic. xx

  4. Had a lovely late lunch/afternoon tea and chats and afterward gave a small tour of inner southern Melbourne (from the car) to my visiting out-of-towner friend. It was a nice break in the chaos- this week has been head spinning!

    • Sounds like you had a lovely time and I’m pretty sure I saw this friend yesterday. I fully relate to the head spinning week – Phew thank goodness its Saturday xx

My Happy moment today, was the 10 minutes I spent sitting outside in the sunshine.
I had the day off work, but managed to work harder than usual. Then I thought, why am I rushing? I went outside and just sat on my verandah. It was just 10 minutes, but it was a relaxing 10 minutes. I listened to the birds, looked at my roses and just sat. I even got a tan!
I felt revitalized after it, and ready to work again. We really do need to stop and smell the roses more often 🙂

    • Ummmmm I love the sun, always feel happier on a Sunny day, must be my Spanish genes. Isn’t it amazing how many senses, smells and sights there are when we take the time to stop xx

  6. I had a special munchkin date night with my daughter. She wanted pancakes and sausage for dinner then we went to see some acrobats. She was in complete awe and to watch that excitement was fantastic!

    • Love kids when they first see something like acrobats, circus or a show in real life, their little faces are full of wonderment and awe and so precious xx

I love red shoes! I bought a pair of red “Mary poppins” boots during winter and lived in them. They were comfy and bright for the colder months and I felt good in them. My happy place is the red boots and watching Mr 2 wear them!

DAY 12!! My happy moment today is not my own, it’s Sandra’s too! My dearest friend in the world is so darn lazy that she has convinced me to write on her behalf also.
We have been on the phone for 1 and a half tonight, laughing so much my tummy hurts. It feels like we are back in High School doing essays! Or when in French class, speaking Portuguese, or in girls toilets doing our hair!
Just these 8 lines have taken me 20 minutes to write cause we are laughing way too much. Best part is… Tomorrow I will get Sandra to write on my behalf! Isnt that what best friends are for?

    • You two are so funny and awesome, my happy place is reading your tweets and your genuine love for eachother.Great idea sharing the workload of your happy place – works well though as you are both happy together xx

Hope you had fun out. My happy place was watching old home videos. A few good giggles!

  10. I’ve had a hard time finding my happy place these last several days, but I’m back. Writing my feelings out helped a lot, and so did hearing words of encouragement from the same friend who thanked me with the card a few days back. I really found my happy place again last night when I saw a performance that both my daughters were in at school. My oldest had several big singing solos, and the other daughter danced. I was so proud of both my girls for their amazing stage presence. And it was so nice to smile again!

    • It is difficult sometimes to find your Happy Place – I know that’s why I set this up as I was struggling too. When you have a tough week, the happy pockets can get lost, but I’m so pleased you found your Happy place watching your daughters perform 🙂
