Stop, Look and Listen

Stop, Look and Listen today

Being a parent you get caught up with the daily routine of parenting, the school run, the dash to activities, the bedtime madness, the organising of breakfasts, lunches & dinners. The running of family life- we all do.

Today I’d like you to try and stop and realise what an awesome job you are doing and how truly fantastic your children are. Look at your children and instead of seeing  what they don’t do; how they won’t go to bed on time, how the leave their dirty clothes on the floor and how many times you have to tell them to do something.

Stop, Look and Listen, Now

Stop, Look and Listen, Now

See how truly exceptional your chidren are, they are funny, they are unique and very clever and they are all yours.

You made this child, they have changed your life. Today instead of jumping on the crazy fast treadmill we get on everyday, try and walk  or jog at a lighter pace instead of running. When you run too fast, you’ll miss special moments, that will never come back. These special momnents make your memories and your children’s memories, these are the moments that you look back at remember.

Stop and internalise your child’s amazing qualities, look at them as they get absorbed in what they are doing, listen to them when they speak and tell them how much you love them.

Parenting is acknowledging your children for who they are.
