Words

Words

I’m linking up with Eden with words that you could read out at a party. So these are the words I want on my 20th wedding anniversay next year.

My Mr. has been my rock. My childhood life was very grown up from the age of two, I’m not a big sharer on my past, I’ve dealt with it in my own way. Suffice to say my first years of my life right through to my teens is what made me study behaviour with a fervent  passion and to work, teach and help children have the childhood they all deserve.

I dedicate this to my Mr who’s been on my life’s evolving  journey for the last 19 years.

 “The One I Love”

Gonna close my eyes
Girl and watch you go
Running through this life darling
Like a field of snow
As the tracer glides
In its graceful arc
Send a little prayer out to ya
‘cross the falling darkTell the repo man
And the stars above
You’re the one I love

Perfect summers night
Not a wind that breathes
Just the bullets whispering gentle
‘mongst the new green leaves
There’s things I might have said
Only wish I could
Now I’m leaking life faster
Then I’m leaking blood

Tell the repo man
And the stars above
You’re the one I love
You’re the one I love
The one I love

Don’t see Elysium
Don’t see no fiery hell
Just the lights up bright baby
In the bay hotel
Next wave coming in
Like an ocean roar
Won’t you take my hand darling
On that old dancefloor

We can twist and shout
Do the turtle dove
And you’re the one I love
You’re the one I love
The one I love

  4. Wow. Such beautiful words.
I wonder is the reason I am so drawn to, and curious about people and their actions and behaviours because of my own childhood? Because I am damaged goods I like to hear and see how others, the “normal” handle or react to things.
I am insanely curious about people and their lives. I ask all the inappropriate questions, because the small stuff, I can see that, I want to go deeper, I want to understand.

    • Hello beautiful working with behaviour there are so many of us that feel like damaged goods, myself included, hence my desire and passion of unravelling behaviour, why we are who we are and why we act like we do. Looking at someone just on the inside can never tell you the whole story they are carrying in the inside. I research on why some people can get through it and others just can’t. The majority of adult behaviour does stem back to childhood, your upbringing, your number of siblings, your faith, abuse, trauma, school, teachers, really everything. I work with children from all ages, backgrounds and with many issues, hoping to give them the confidence that what has happened does not make them who they think they are. I just want to cuddle them all really.
Personally some days my head goes back into the wrong space and I question myself far too much, now I let it rumble away and focus on my work, mum and my kids, trying to bring myself back into my real world which is far much better than my past world.
Big hugs gorgeous, you have my number if you ever need to chat xx

  5. 19 years Nat? Thats awesome sauce 🙂

I actually fell in love to David Grey’s White Ladder Album almost 10 years ago, and in particular the lyrics “feels like lighting running through my veins, everytime I look at you”

Bam – Music is powerful x

  6. Beautiful worlds Natalie. Wow, nearly 20 years. That is very inspiring! Looking forward to catching up with you soon – and let’s have a bit of a dance yeah?!?!?

    • 20 years which at times seemed slow but now seems so fast especially with a Miss 16 so grown up. I’d love to shake my booty on the dance floor can’t wait Laney xx

  7. You had no say in your past but the things you have chosen for yourself and your future are so very right for you- your career path, your life partner. You have risen above. You are amazing. Love xxx

    • Unfortunately we all have very little we can do to change past events, it’s a daily baby step every day, moment by moment, embracing what you are grateful for and smiling when you can because you can. Big love right back at you gorgeous x

  8. Congratulations on 19 years and counting! …and congratulations to you for taking the positive road in life. Too often people dwell in the past and all too often repeat it. You are a gem Nat.

  9. Norlin Mustapha says

Beautiful words there Nat. And here's to a great celebration of your 20 years of marriage next year. xx
